Bake Along Challenge # 8 : Bundt Cake

Hi everyone!

Here's a new Bake Along Challenge and this time around the theme is
  Bundt Cakes .
It's my first time making a bundt cake. I've always wanted to try it out so will make use of my new bundt pan soon ;).

Hi everyone...I'm back with my event after a looonngggg absence. Yup, life has been super busy with the arrival of the princess, a new job, an upcoming new house, a home baking business and a long distance marriage with the husband pursuing his Masters..Phewww. In the midst of all this, I've missed cooking and baking for pleasure. So, here goes.. Bake Along Challenge #6..I hope it will inspire me and you to try out a new recipe as it's the holiday season after all!

And the Theme is : Chocolate

Yes, let's start off with this favourite ingredient of mine.

Bake Along Challenge - Pie, Tart and Quiches

After nearly a year, I'm hosting this Event in my blog..been busy with the pregnancy and the baby..
So, here we go..the comeback of Bake Along Challenge kicks off with Pie, Tart and Quiches..
Hmmm...I love pies, tarts and quiches...both the savoury and the sweet ones. The end result of a beautiful pie with buttery crust will truly make the extra time and work worthwhile.

Our Princess has arrived

Hey everyone...It's been a week since we welcomed our little princess....After all the waiting, she was born on 16th March 2013....I had a normal delivery and was back on my feet that evening itself and back home the next day. We named our little joy Shweta..... ;)

Awaiting Our Bundle Of Joy

Here I am...writing from my hosp bed...I have been recenly diagnosed with Oligohydraminos (low amniotic fluid level around baby) and my specialist has advised admission for 3 days to monitor me at the hosp yet there was no improvements noted...so, I will be here till term (37 weeks)..which is in 2 weeks time..and they plan to induce me...so far baby's doing good which is a huge relief...but sitting in the hospital when u're actually not 'sick' is not cool at all....

Luckily we as hosp staff are eligible for first class ward and as my husband is a higher grade officer,so  I get to stay in a room by myself with attached washroom...food is so much better than the normal wards..and he gets to stay longer than visiting hours (wat a relief)..I've somehow managed one week...and 2 more to go...praying for a normal delivery and a healthy baby ;)

Dear mothers, do advice me on care after delivery and any advice u think I may need as I am unsure on what to expect with a newborn.....luckily I have bought most of baby's things these past 2 months so dun have to trouble Mr. husband to shop by himself...(though Ive been giving him lists of errands to run as I cant get out of here)....well...till my next post...tc all ;)

Hi all...it's time for yet another exciting event...Ive been wondering for days on the theme and at last decided upon something desired by young and old....'Ice Cream'....well, who doesn't love ice-cream, rite...may it be a simple cone, a yummylicious sundae with all the colourful toppings, a banana split with your favourite flavours or just sitting in front of the TV with a tub of ice-cream and a spoon...hmm...well, I love all of em....
So, let's make ice-cream....for those who are pros in homemade ice-cream, it's time for u to come up with some exciting new flavours...and for those who always wanted to give it a try, there's no better time than now...and that included me ;)

First of all, sorry for delivering the awards quite late...very busy with work and home for last few weeks...Well, there were 3 Awards for the Say Cheese Event : Irresistable Dish Award, Most Creative Dish Award and Feast To The Eyes Award....

Firstly, the Irresistable Dish Award goes to :  Umm Mymoonah from Taste Of Pearl City for her Spaghetti Salad.....this dish truly looks yummy...a creative one too, I must say...

Now, the Most Creative Dish Award goes to Sayantani from A Homemaker's Diary for her yummy looking Soy Stuffed Pattypan Squash....this is a very creative one and something really new to me...lovely...
