Ingredients :
1 cup flour
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp bicarbonate soda
2 tbsp milk powder
3/4 cup castor sugar
1 1/4 cup cold water
1 tsp vanilla essence
1/2 tsp Nescafe powder
pinch of salt
1/2 cup canola oil
1/2 tsp apple cider vinegar
Method :
Preheat oven at 160 degrees celcius
Prepare a 6-7 inch baking pan (this cake is a not a tall one)
Sift flour with baking powder, bicarbonate soda and cocoa powder.
Add milk powder, salt sugar and combine together with a whisk.
Add in cold water, oil and Nescafe..Combine till well mixed, with a hand whisk.
Finally add the vinegar. combine immediately and pour into the prepared pan..Bake for about 30-35 minutes or till done....
At last I made use of my new silicone pan...and wow...no greasing required and beautifully baked cake...easy to make as all measurements using cups and measuring spoons and no mixer needed......whole family loved it...This is a wonderful chocolatey, moist chocolate cake, worth a try....;)
