Cheese n Dill Scones

Watched this on Barefoot Contessa a couple of weeks ago...managed to make em today....it's a savory type of scones and tasted so buttery and lovely...even the whole house was smelling of fresh scones....:)
Original recipe's from Food Network Asia- Ina Garten....I reduced the ingredients to make for just the two of us....had it with Chicken Salad...awesome dinner I would say....

Ingredients :
2 cups self rising flour
1/2 tbsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
100 gm unsalted butter, diced
1/4 cup cold thickened cream
1 egg
1/2 cup shredder cheddar cheese (more or less as u like it)
1/4 cup minced fresh dill

Method :
Preheat oven 200 degrees celcius
Mix together flour, salt and baking powder in an electric mixer. Add in butter and let it mix slowly till it's pea sized...
Mix egg with cream and add them in...Combine until just blended and remove.. Add in the cheese and dill. Mix lightly...
Put the dough on a well floured surface and pat to make a 3/4 thickness dough....Cut using a round or square cutter and place them on a prepared baking tray...Bake for about 20 minutes.....
